CORWALL AND DEVON
Plymouth is the nearest big shopping centre, with it’s newly opened Drake Circus.
Truro is the county town of Cornwall, where you can spend a quiet hour or two shopping.
The Eden Project, only 30 miles away, and Lost Gardens of Heligan, just 36 miles away, are both less than an hours drive, and can be reached by public transport. The National Marine Aquarium is just over the Tamar River in Plymouth.
If you fancy an evening out at the Theatre, the Theatre Royal in Plymouth has a variety of performances, whilst both Sterts and The Minack both provide unusual settings, however, don’t forget to book, and remember, whilst Sterts is only 17 miles away, the Minack is nearly 80 miles.
If you enjoy swimming and surfing, there are many safe beaches to enjoy yourself, or you can go diving on the Scylla or other wrecks in Whitsand Bay.
Mount Edgcumbe and many National Trust properties are within easy reach of Trerieve, but if your hobby is walking you will be spoilt for choice, as you have not only the short walks around the farm, but both Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor are easily accessible.
